Welcome to the Ashwaubenon Education Foundation

Thank you for your interest in the Ashwaubenon Education Foundation, a fund of the Greater Green Bay Community Foundation.

Mission

The Ashwaubenon Education Foundation's purpose is to enhance student experiences by offering grants to expand innovative opportunities that develop and inspire students in the Ashwaubenon School District.  We do this by advocating for student learning needs, securing funding from community sources, and offering financial support for innovative programs beyond the publicly funded budgets.

The Ashwaubenon Education Foundation is an independent, community-based, charitable, volunteer group raising funds and other resources for educational enrichment of students in the Ashwaubenon Public Schools.  The Foundation seeks the cooperation and collaboration of individuals, corporations, businesses, and community organizations to secure funding to promote excellence, opportunity, and equity in the Ashwaubenon Public Schools.

Vision

We will create an endowment that motivates and inspires a stronger sense of community ownership for the Ashwaubenon School District as evidenced through broad-based leadership and financial support.  Endowment giving and granting will ensure the continuation of cutting edge and innovative approaches that are the ongoing traditions of the District.

How it Works

Ashwaubenon Education Foundation Board has set a goal of raising a permanent endowment of over $500,000 for the purpose of funding grants for students in the Ashwaubenon School District.  The philosophy behind the endowment fund is that over half of the yearly investment earnings are distributed as grants, leaving the principal investment untouched to grow and continue to fund creative programs for years to come.  A $500,000 endowment will allow us to award approximately $25,000 in grants each year.

You Can Make a Difference

We invite you to make a difference in the life of a child.  Your gift in any amount of money to the Ashwaubenon Education Foundation will be an investment toward quality education for today's students and future generations.  Memorials, real estate, real property, insurance, and will bequests may also be given.  The endowment's success depends on members of our community and their volunteer efforts.  Gifts of time, talent, and expertise are always appreciated.  The Ashwaubenon Education Foundation contributes to a community-wide focus on education for our youth.

Thank you for your interests and donations.  Your generosity will benefit students for many years to come!
